The Heber Valley
Big Pole Estates is located in the Heber Valley which is on the east side of the Wasatch Mountain range. Residents of the Heber Valley are the envy of nearly 2 million people who live in the populated communities on the west side of the Wasatch Mountains. The population of the Heber Valley is about 25,000. The community offers the day to day services commonly needed. The major communities in the Heber Valley are Heber City and Midway City with several other smaller communities scattered around the valley.
Big Pole Estates is on the eastern side of the Heber Valley. Residents in the valley enjoy clean air, very low traffic and yet are only about 35 minutes from major shopping centers in the cities of Provo and Orem, Utah. Salt Lake City is about 1 hour away via US 40 and Interstate 80.
Park City and its famous ski areas are about 25 minutes drive north of the Heber Valley. Salt Lake City and the Salt Lake City International Airport are about 55 miles from the Heber Valley.
Healthcare
The Heber Valley has a full complement of medical and dental care options including the Intermountain Heber Valley Hospital. Provo and Orem, UT, has an even bigger selection of medical care and hospital services and is about 30 to 40 minutes drive from Big Pole Estates

Heber Valley Airport
Heber Valley has the regional airport for the Wasatch Back area (Summit and Wasatch Counties). The Heber Valley Airport (KHCR), named Russ McDonald Field , is located 1 mile south of Heber City, Utah in the beautiful Heber Valley. The airport is a short 20-minute drive to Park City, Deer Valley, and the Sundance resort.
Eighty-five airplanes of various types are based at the Russ McDonald Field, and the transient traffic ranges from light piston to heavy turbine aircraft.
